How it Works 

LabMill 3310 grinds samples through rapid crushing between sharp steel discs. This disc-milling process minimises moisture loss in samples because it limits how much heat it generates.

Therefore, the LabMill is ideal for sample preparation where moisture content is critical.

The hardened steel grinding discs are adjustable, for when you want different particle distribution.

Once it has ground down the samples, the instrument collects them in 250 ml cups.

LabMill 3310 works with three types of disc, to produce different particle sizes:

• Medium (disc type 1) – to prepare samples for moisture content analysis 

• Fine (disc type 2) – to produce finer particles, or for the Particle Size Index (PSI) test 

• Coarse (disc type 6) – for grinding oats and other high moisture grains.

LabMill 3310 comes with medium, type 1 discs as standard.
